The Beginner's menu will lead you through small sets of vocabulary to start out learning Japanese, with a variety of games available to learn the words. Start by reviewing the words for Set 1 under the Word Sets menu, learn a few of the words, then play the games to start building your score.
Learn Hiragana and Katakana progressively with our audio games Bingo and Hidden Image. The Kana syllabaries are also broken down into small sets so you can learn incrementally. Play the games until you have a solid familiarity with each set, then add another set of Kana into the games and continue to expand your knowledge.
The Intermediate section expands on the vocabulary and divides words into categories. The same games are available to help you learn them. Click on Vocabulary Sets to focus on a single category at a time.
The Advanced section will lead you through our Progressive games to work your way through an extensive vocabulary from the most common to advanced words.
The Resources menu has various other pages you may find useful when studying Japanese.
The user section is tailored to your usage of this site. Go to the Settings page to note your automatically generated user id. This is all you need to keep track of your activity on Lexis Rex.
